THREE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED:
1) Attend the Event
All are welcome to this festival of faith. Everyone is part of a family, in the wider sense, so there are events for people from all backgrounds and of all ages. Attendance will, however, require tickets/registration. Some events will be free; others will require a small fee. Registration is currently open online and by phone, see contact details below.
2) Volunteer at the Event
The World Meeting of the Families 2018 will attract thousands of Irish and International pilgrims. Organising it and ensuring its success will only be possible with the help of generous volunteers who will put their love and talents to service.
We are seeking people with all kinds of skills – e.g. hospitality, administration, languages – to join the team before and during the event.
3) Host Some Pilgrims
Thousands of people will be travelling from very distant places to participate in World Meeting of Families 2018. Many would be unable to come if they also had to cover the cost of accommodation.
Do you have a spare room? Would you be willing to host a person, a couple or a family next August? Help us welcome visiting families to Ireland and have a home-from-home experience. Phibsborough is also an ideal location!
For information on attending, volunteering or hosting pilgrims please visit www.worldmeeting2018.ie, email info@worldmeeting2018.ie, call +353 1 567 6800 or visit our offices at Holy Cross Diocesan Centre, Drumcondra.
