Ambo Lazarist Deaf School (ALDS) Fundraising Events Paddy’s Day Plunge at the 40 Foot, Dublin (Vincentian Lay Missionaries)
For the warm blooded among us. This is our 4th annual Plunge. Looking forward to snapping some more photos of tortured faces! But remember the smiles we captured on the faces of the kids in Ambo proves that ‘Your pain is their gain!’ Please take the Plunge! Contact us at: ambodeaf@vlm.ie.
Next week work on the restoration of our shrines will commence. In order to facilitate this, there will be no Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesday, 21 to Friday, 24 February. The church will close after the 10.30am Mass on these days. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and we thank you for your support.
The children from St Peter’s National School due to make their First Holy Communion this coming year will attend a special Mass at 11.30am this Sunday 19th February. We extend a warm welcome to all and encourage active participation within the preparation programme. We invite as many parents as possible to assist in the planning and preparation of the different Masses of the programme as it is through such participation that all grow in understanding of the significance of what [...]
